I'm Hester, and I'm the Founder of Delilah Creative. I live in Brooklyn, New York 🚕 with my family, and I've been an entrepreneur for around ten years now. I really believe in that saying "I'll work 100 hours a week for myself to avoid working 40 hours a week for someone else!" 😂

I started off co-founding a media business, Sassy Media Group, which has brands like @sassyhongkong, @sassymamahk and @sassymamasg under our umbrella, and then when I felt like I needed more brands to work on, I decided to start Delilah, to (hopefully!) work some magic on other peoples' businesses... 💪🏻✨

Running a business isn't fun or easy, but it is super-rewarding, and now I'm pretty much unemployable by anyone else anyway as I have a strong tendency to wander away from my computer at strange times, love to travel, and tend to have rather strong opinions about things! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It's time to FORGET THE FOLD....Yes, that old chestnut about NEEDING to stuff as much information "above the fold" of a website (i.e. the part you see without needing to scroll at all) as though it were a newspaper, is about as outdated as... well, a newspaper. Sniff. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
While it's super-important that as soon as people land on your site, you tell them what you do, we recommend that clients clearly pop a mission statement on or below their header banner image, rather than trying to stuff paragraphs of information in the very top part of your website. 🤓

After all, the very existence and keen addiction we all feel to instagram, shows we're not exactly unwilling to scroll, right guys? 🙄😂

So if anyone mentions "the fold" to you, feel free to bop them on the head, or send them our way, and we'll do it for you. With a balloon or something of course. 🎈

Our beautiful Singapore team get to have fresh coconuts to start the morning at their client meetings. I'm not at all jealous over here in New York. Not one bit. Starbucks is practically the same thing, right? 😕😬
