The Paradise Catcher - Live on Shopify

The Paradise Catcher is a brand of totally customizable and mongrammable beach bags, created by ex-British Vogue Associate Publisher, Emily Armstrong. Emily came to Delilah because she didn’t feel that her existing Shopify site was delivering on the vision she had for a really beautiful yet spirited fashion brand. Emily already had a beautiful logo design, and a sense of the colour scheme she wanted to work with, and just needed a website to bring everything together!

We started off by developing a mood board for the project to incorporate all of the different inputs we had, and also because we knew we wanted to develop some bespoke iconography to represent the process of customisation that customers can choose from.

We then proceeded to create a UI (user interface) design for The Paradise Catcher’s homepage, collection page and product page. This is our process for all of our Shopify builds, so that we can nail these really key sections of an e-commerce site with input from our UI designer, before we move into development. We usually go through two to three rounds of revisions on these first designs, before we get into Shopify and start coding!

We love how this site turned out, and are so proud of the amazing feedback we received from Emily, who said this about working with Delilah (we’re blushing)…

If you’re thinking about hiring Delilah Creative, just do it. It may be the best small business investment you will make. This team of clever, current, efficient and super lovely women get the job done with minimum fuss and maximum results. The whole process - from the initial meeting to briefing to the site going live and receiving the tools I need to effectively manage my website - was not only surprisingly quick but also really enjoyable. Delilah took the time to understand my brand and in the process, I felt I clarified my own brand positioning. This way of working feels modern, collaborative and energising. I couldn’t recommend Kate and the team at Delilah Creative more...
